We constructed this tank bund two years ago - as we described in another place - and the tank was doing well. We knew there were silt and mud accumulated for several years in the bed area hence wanted to remove them. At the same time I wanted to expand the tank bed area in order to store more water and to make the scenery more beautiful.
We employed an excavator and did the work in may 2017. Hiring charge for excavation was Rs. 5,500 per hour.
